Privacy Policy

Mudita is built on a simple principle: your data belongs to you. We collect only what's necessary to run the app, we don't sell your information, and you can delete everything at any time.

1 Who we are

Mudita ("we", "our", "us") operates the Mudita mobile application — order management software for home bakers and home food businesses. You can reach us any time at hello@mudita.food.

2 What we collect

Account information: Your name, email address, and business name when you create an account.
Business data you enter: Customer names, phone numbers, order history, menu items, and pricing — all created and managed by you.
Usage data: Anonymous app interaction data (screens visited, features used) to help us improve the product. This is never tied to your identity.

We do not collect payment card information. Payments are handled entirely by Apple's App Store and RevenueCat.

3 How we use your information

To create and manage your account
To sync your data across your devices (if you enable cloud sync)
To process your subscription via the App Store
To respond to support requests
To improve the app based on anonymous usage patterns

We will never use your data for advertising, and we will never sell it to third parties.

4 Data storage

By default, all your data is stored locally on your device. If you enable cloud sync, your data is stored securely on Firebase (Google Cloud) servers with encryption in transit and at rest. We implement industry-standard security practices to protect your information.

6 Your rights

You have full control over your data:

Access all your data at any time from within the app
Correct any account information
Delete your account — all associated data is permanently removed immediately

7 Children's privacy

Mudita is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8 Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. When we make material changes, we'll notify you in the app and update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Mudita after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
